R. Randall Rainey, J.D

Randall Rainey, J.D., LL.M., AIF® is the Founder, President and CEO of Capital Management Advisors LP. He leads the firm’s private wealth management practice and oversees its investment advisory practice. Mr. Rainey is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners and the Planned Giving Council of Houston. Mr. Rainey earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin (1973), his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law (New Orleans) (1982) and an LL.M. from Yale Law School (1988). He received a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from the Weston School of Theology at Cambridge, MA. (1987) and holds a Master in Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, CA. (1990). He is married and has two beautiful step-daughters, two sons-in-law and four grandchildren. He and his wife are members of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church where he serves on the finance council.
